Position: Disaster Relief Home Inspector (Entry-Level)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct home inspections in disaster-affected areas to assess the condition of residential properties and identify damage caused by natural disasters such as hurricanes, floods, and wildfires.

2. Document inspection findings using industry-standard reporting software, including observations, measurements, and photographs.

3. Collaborate with experienced inspectors and adjusters to learn best practices for assessing and documenting disaster-related damage.

4. Communicate inspection results and recommendations to disaster survivors with empathy and sensitivity, providing support and guidance during the recovery process.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; we welcome individuals with a passion for helping others and a willingness to learn.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with disaster survivors and team members.

• Basic knowledge of residential construction and building components is preferred but not required.

• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of disaster survivors.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities in disaster response situations.
